This scene is so cheesy, yet at the same time...there was something genuinely so gratifying and _relieving_ about it. First time I watched it, I literally teared up because I was just so happy for Ballister and the massive W this was. Ah, I really am so impressed with the writing this movie had!!! It was SO good!!!

In all honesty, Bal should've recorded literally everything. From the conversation, to the attempted murder, and then to the reveal that it was Nimona as Ambrosius. All that would have made his plan airtight. But of course there's some movie left so...

Normally when a character asks a question in an animated project they 90 times out of ten either go "No they can't" or "Can sharks dance? ...I dunno can they?" but she understood the message and with confidence said "Watch me" and snaps her shark teeth playfully.
She's very good at delivering her lines.
