Workover Rig Coming Down 6% Grade in the Bakken

I have never driven a workover rig. I don’t think that they have an engine brake but I wouldn’t know for sure. I think they weigh in around 80k lbs. probably not the smoothest riding vehicle out there. They’re used to do service work on oil wells. What it lacks in fuel milage it makes up for in being about to pull miles of sucker rod and pipe out of oil wells. They usually have a Detroit 60 series somewhere behind the cab.
