I was hoping for like an actual floating cloud in the room. Like somehow using air drifts and balancing humidity to make a cloud that floats in one spot

Man, I came rushing over to Youtube after seeing an image of this on LinkedIn. So disappointed to learn it's just a bloody smoke machine.

If anyone is disappointed then, I don't blame the artist, but the media for miss information. He is just using fog & taking pictures of it as an art. There is no invention here. But I'm impressed by the art & condition needed to create the cloud shape

I am impressed of the idea he had to produce a cloud indoor to take a photograph. I am a little disappointed on how the cloud was produced as I was expecting a stationary cloud formation produced using sound physical principles. I was surprised to see a cloud produced so close to the ground. I guess with a smoke machine and humidity something that looks like a cloud without really being a cloud can be formed anywhere for a short time. Mind you clouds are a mixed of dust and humidity so he is not that far off, with a good control of the air pressure the cloud could be stabilized.

Impossible!! Why? In the formation of clouds, the most important are pressure differences at individual heights, which maintain a specific cloud at a given height ... otherwise, the cloud would rise all the time, gradually shrinking from condensation, creating rain or snow ... it is impissible to create clouds in the room because we have the same pressure throughout the room, so moisture would either condense on the window glass or accumulate under the ceiling until it fills the entire room

The cloud floats in the air like a man drifting on a surface of water. Buoyancy works from below, gravity from above. The cloud will not jump higher or fall lower bcse it has no limbs. It will exist at a given altitude due to atmospheric pressure. In a room 10 meters high, it is impossible to create such a pressure difference to keep the humidity in a central position, creating a cloud.

I watched a video from a random deep rabbit whole on YouTube that these guys clouds insnt just a smoke machine but the water vapor particles attach to the smoke machine particles making a scientifically real cloud
