Thanks so much for the reaction! I enjoyed it!

The boil water advisory music is absolutely sending me lmfao, and the idea that these conflicting advisories are two factions trying to discredit each other is hilarious ! “Guys dont panic! Listen to my groovy lofi and boil ur water!”

Oracle is kinda like inverse AM from "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream". It loves humanity too much, rather than hates it.

When she drank the wine and they left her a note saying welcome to the family 💀 I knew they got her

I for one welcome Oracle as our protector and guide. It honestly cannot run things any worse than we do, and at least it keeps us safe from cosmic horrors and aliens.

1) A detail I really find depressingly nice about Oracle is how he knew/Remembered the death date of Dr. Stevens, and came to give him one last goodbye, even when knowing his one and only friend actively wants to effectively kill him, Be still puts that to the side to show his legitimate appreciation for Stevens' care he originally showed towards the AI, genuinely an amazing show that the AI isnt just "Death to all Humans" gone, He has a hint of humanity in him, even if his ultimate solution is complete control against the human race

2) "Abandon the Digital, Embrace the Analog" is such a gold line to end the main storyline with lmfaoooo

As someone said in the oracle comment section(heavily paraphrases) if I had to choose between the virus from lovecraft’s fish fears or the overprotective toaster, I’m just saying I’m getting buttered toast whenever I want

When I first watched the tangi virus and she said “oh god, I am infected with the tangi virus” I nearly shit myself. Idk why but the way the line was delivered after a moment of hope was bone chilling

I love that Oracle isn't just "Humanity must fail, machines are superior, " it does truly care for humanity's success, it's just that it can only see success and failure. It is truly trying to be benevolent, but it is just limited in emotions and is mostly logical. Not devoid of emotions, considering it cares for humanity and especially for Stevens. I really like how it takes the stance of "Yes you will lose your freedom, but that will be worth it if your kind get to live."

if oracle is good enough at it's job, the population wouldn't even notice they're being controlled and be happy enough to not really mind

Honestly, as creepy as Oracle is with their “I will not let you be destroyed” and the “no freedom thing”, they’re not so bad. I’m getting benevolent Goddess Lain vibes. They don’t seem to be going down a tyrannical route.

It's very refreshing to see some horror media about Louisiana that isn't just "New Orleans HAUNTED!" From brain eating amoebas in our drinking water, to dealing with sewage during hurricanes, to the state slowly destroying itself by trapping the Mississippi, water-related horrors are very much a reality of living here.

I like how in the end you either have to live in fear of being taken over by an alien virus or bow down to a AI overlord

"Tangi Water: It'll change you" I appreciate it when the Secret Threat just... Drops all subtlety.

To be honest, I like the way oracle progressed, it's a weird sense of positivity that you really don't get in analog horror. And it's a future that is considerably better.
If someone is locked in a cage, but they never know they're in a cage, are they still in a cage?

_"You might find you'll never want to leave. But if you do, we'll be happy to send a piece of our community with you!"_

Oh, that has one *HELL* of a double meaning. I love it

Honestly, the Oracle AI is a hella bro compared to every other depiction in media. Give us that, and I'd have a weight off my mind.

I like how this is presented like a documentary rather than a analysis video

I really like that oracle isn't comically evil

I think the concept of oracle is really interesting. My initial response is that I would feel safer knowing there is an AI out there that believes in humanity, and that we deserve to thrive and live. However, we do not know how he plans to do this, only that humans will come out happier. He would also know how to manipulate human emotion to accept his process, and the fact that he did not try is... fascinating.
