Our first adventure of the day was in Davis Mountains State Park hiking the Indian Lodge Loop. The Trailhead was closed due to renovations on the Lodge itself, so we did an out and back starting from the Montezuma Quail Trail. Beautiful views of the surrounding area.
Our second adventure of today was at Fort Davis. This was a pretty cool place with quite a bit to check out. A National Parks Pass gets you in, too, so it was free to us!
Our third adventure in the area was at Point Of Rocks Rest stop. There are no facilities here, just picnic tables, but the climbing and exploring in the rocks is worth the short 15 mile trip from the fort. 😁👍🏻
