In this lesson we start of with the basics by first explaining What is the Windows Admin Center, what are some of the technicalities, what are some of the benefits and also How to actually get this Free Windows Utility.

The Windows Admin Center is a free utility that came out with Windows Server 2016 which basically in a nutshell allows you to manage all your servers regardless of where they are. It allows you to manage both physical and virtual servers on-prem, it allows you to manage virtual servers on Azure and it also allows you to manage hosted servers.

A few important points to consider for WAC that weren't mentioned
1) For any older servers, you need to install WMF 5.0 or you won't be able to manage them.
2) It uses WMI and WinRM to do all the management, so if you are working in a company that locks those down you will have to talk to your security people.

I have WAC on Win 10. I don't see the PowerShell tool in the list of tools.

All of the tools work except the built-in PowerShell console.

PowerShell works well on my Win10. What could be the problem?
