The West Indies were marvellous back in the 90's. From 1980 to 1995 they never lost a test series- home and away!!! Real kings of cricket!!!

As a west indian. I really really miss this time in our cricket history. Our cricket had heart, soul and mirrored our culture. I remember this day so very well... So sad our cricket has been hijacked by a generation that seems to never been able to embrace our great legacy in this great game

Curtly ambrose gave 100 runs in one innings of his debut test
the amazing fact is that he played 97 test matches after that and he never gave 100runs in any innings of a test
Absolute legend of the game
Tons of respect to the legend from India

Ambrose on song was the most destructive bowler in the history of cricket. He took 7 wickets for 1 run in one session against Australia in Perth. He terrified everyone.

No better sight in world cricket than Sir Curtly Ambrose in full flow. Unless you're 22 yards away of course. Just awesome.

Epic commentary from David Gower, at the fall of Robin Smith: "If ever you've got a crisis, send for Curtly, and that's the end of the crisis!" My favourite fast bowler of all time, and I'm English btw.

The second wicket which was a run out is quite interesting. It felt that mishap happened because both batters didn't want to face Curtly Ambrose, and rather be at non striker end.

I am Indian but WI is my all time favourite team. They play to enjoy the sport not for greed of money or fame. Love their spirit.
