Mandela Effect JAWS 'WE'RE Gonna Need A Bigger Boat' Reality Residue!!

I experienced a Reality where it was always "We're gonna need a bigger boat" not You're gonna need a bigger boat.

I remember "We're gonna need a bigger boat." That made much more sense than "You're gonna need a bigger boat, " because all 3 of them were hunting that great white shark from that boat! ⛵

This is the biggest Mandela for me personally. Jaws is one of my all time favorite movies, watched it more times then I can remember and it's was always "we're"

"you're" makes sense because it's quints boat, not brody or hoopers. also quint is doing most of the actual "hunting" of the shark thus he's gonna need a bigger boat
"we're" makes sense because there are three people on the boat on a singular mission
it makes sense to remember "we're" because we remember 3 characters thus we assume that it was plural. this was probably why gottlieb and scheider misremember it
within the nuance of the story and in the moment through brody's eyes, the singular "you're" makes sense even if it sounds weird to us as the audience

It does not make sense as "Your gonna need a bigger boat" as that is singular. There is more than one person on the boat. "We're Gonna need a bigger boat" makes sense.

Wow, great find! IDK how anyone can ignore evidence like this. The idea that the actor who said the line himself just happens to be misremembering it is just ridiculous. Anyone can make the argument that a random person who isn't familiar with the line might have heard it wrong, or might be remembering it wrong, but how can you account for this happening to the person who spent countless hours and days reading, rehearsing, and eventually gaining notoriety over the line?

Brody has seen the shark and was not expecting it, he’s a rational intelligent man, “you’re gonna” is short hand for get me the hell out of here and come back yourself, i want absolutely nothing to do with this and i wanna go ashore to my wife and sons. He later says “we’re gonna get a bigger boat right?”
Then “ if we radio. In for a bigger boat...” before the Indianapolis scene.

Another one, when the old guy swims underwater in the beginning, near the fat woman and pops his head up, he spits out water!!! Now, he does not. ( It is the scene where the boy gets killed on the raft.)

I watched Jaws again awhile back to confirm this one. What surprised me more were the UFO's clearly visible in some long shots of the Orca while Roy was moving around the deck. I didn't remember those right either..

Why would he say you’re it makes no sense. He is the one throwing out the chum it would be different if he was just a miscreant they picked up.
