With all the 'remastered' games being released for new consoles, I wish they'd give Max Payne 1 and 2 that treatment. Everyone deserves a chance to play them.

One of the earlier games that showed us story telling matters for a game. Great story telling, relatable characters, good voice acting, a soundtrack that compliments the atmosphere of the game, fascinating gameplay mechanics.

I remember many years ago when my ex-girlfriend and our friend watched me play this game front to back in about five hours, and they laughed and cheered at it like they were watching a movie. I really didn't say much, and let the game speak for itself. Just such a wonderfully designed game with such excellent presentation, dynamic gameplay and quirky, strangely stirring comic-book cutscenes that people who didn't really care about video games could watch someone play it for entertainment.

After beating Max Payne 2 recently (Max Payne 3 previously being my favourite, still think it's perfect) this ending and this song brought so much clarity to everything I had experienced throughout and made all of it hit me at once, safe to say you don't forget the first time you hear this after beating MP2
