Thank you so much for your video; i found it very useful. I am an Australian trained GP and have been working as a GP in Australia for the past 28 years. I am married to a Swiss citizen and am interested in working as a GP (in Geneva). I am studying French (I’m at level A2 so far). Where do I start the process? Where are GP jobs advertised?

Hi doctor! Thanks for sharing this video.I want to know whether a EU citizenship is a necessary condition to work in Switzerland as a physician, because I don't want to abandon my original nationality.

I have a Polish Medical Degree, Goethe B2 German, and German Permanent Residence but I am a US citizen. Do you think a Direct Anerkennung is possible?

Thank you! It is hard to find information on Switzerland online, maybe because few people have done it.
I recently graduated from a non-EU country. I can either go to France (faster process) or Germany (longer process) to have my degree recognized and work there before applying to Switzerland.
Do you know non-EU graduates who came to Switzerland through France pathway?
I am so grateful I found your channel today!

Thank you for the above information. I was wondering If I have EU citizenship but I obtained my medical degree in a non-EU country, do I essentially count as a Non-EU applicant? Will I then need to acquire work experience in an EU country prior to applying to Switzerland?

Thanks for the information Dr! Can you please explain the procedure for a non EU citizen with an EU medical MD degree (with license to practice in few european countries already)? Because I contacted MEBEKO about it, and they told me that even though my EU MD is recognised in european countries+GMC(UK), MEBEKO won't recognised it simply because I'm not an EU/EEA citizen.

First of all, thank you a lot Mr ganz for your precious advices, I'm currently a 3rd grade radiology resident in radiology, in romania that is an eu country, I already speak both fluent German and French, I got a Romanian recognition of my Algerian mbbs, and I would ask you if in my situation it is possible to secure a position in Switzerland, thanks a lot for your answer

Hello doctor!
I follow your YouTube content related to work in Switzerland, so I would like to ask you for your suggestion and help.
I am from Serbia and I am 25 years old, I just graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade (Serbia - non EU).
I have always wanted to work in Switzerland and I am aware of how difficult it is to get there. I started learning German and by the end of this year I could reach the b1-b2 level.
My fiancee is about to graduate from IT technology and has EU citizenship, so we thought about the easiest way to come and work in Switzerland.
What is your suggestion?
Thanks in advance, regards!
