I switched over to a letter size wire bound dot notebook ($2 from Walmart!) and I love it. They have white pages, light dots, and plenty of room, plus you can easily tear out pages without having binding problems. Love them. I bought 3!

I might be mistaken but I think I've heard that the leuchtturm B5 notebooks has white paper while the A5 is cream.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't used the B5 notebooks.

A white gel pen might work better
I also love more vertical layouts, i think the notebook therapy has white pages and archer and olive.
