A day trip to Luxembourg | exploring the land of the rich

Показать описание
Luxembourg - a small country that somehow became one of the richest countries in the world! And today I’m taking a train from trier to Luxembourg to see what it has to offer.
Fun facts about Luxembourg:
Luxembourgers are typically tri-lingual, with the country having three official languages: German, French, and Luxembourgish. I didn't know Luxembourg had their own language till now :D
Walking by the shops you could notice that the cuisine is a fusion of French and German. Many quiches and many donners plus a lot of international food
The money goes into buying fancy cars. I didn't show it but there are many of them. They also own the most cars.
And even though Luxembourg is one of the richest countries in the world it doesn't mean everyone there is rich and wealthy. Many people commute to Luxembourg for their jobs and stay in cities located close to the boarder.
It was a fun moderately spontaneous adventure. And I can confirm that stuff there is expensive, even just buying a simple lunch was pricey. But all in all I was expecting more to be honest :D
Plus we got super luck with the train because starting from the next day there would be construction for the whole month and buses would go instead which is way less comfortable to travel in.
