Love, Situationships, and Delulus | CCF On Air Podcast

The solulu is delulu when it comes to love, right? Unfortunately, your delulus aren't the solulus - especially when it comes to love. The reality is that the love we always thought would make us happier and even mentally healthier, the kind of love that places the self front and center or proclaims, "My relationship, my rules", actually leads to separation or loneliness. So, if everything we thought we knew about love wasn't true, where do we go from here?

Thanks God for the wisdom of these people who blessed me and others today.

As for my reflection on this podcast, I think I need to embrace the season of aloneness without any hint of bitterness and shift my focus in God's mighty work in the process.

I was in the phase of my life where I think I felt lonely due to peer pressure in terms of that 'Eros' relationship – which is self imposed. I wanted to feel that feeling for myself and so I got into a situationship. At first, I felt strong and brave; because I believed finally, I've done something for myself – to choose my own happiness.
True, I felt joy being with that person.

But that was fleeting – like bubbles. Eventually, I was lost in the blur, in the uncertainty where was that going or if that was even leading to somewhere.

I'd like to say a lot of things, experience different things, but I can't cause we aren't labeled, we didn't have a commitment – and that's what kept me anxious and affected my mental health that I thought was okay until I realized it's not.

Recently, this holy week, I intently reflected on my life and was so glad I came across this podcast.
And so, before this April ends, I'm planning to break off from this situationship and build myself, a community, and more meaningful bonds with people around me first through the love of God for I admit that I do not yet fully grasp the concept of genuine love.

I really don't want to hurt his feelings, so please pray for me 🙏

A few of countless verses that clearly distinguishes the Father from the Son:
All who change these scriptures will not enter the Father’s kingdom. There is only one spirit in heaven, and that spirit belongs to God the Father alone, for all live unto him (Luke 20:38).
In 2 John 1:3, it is written “Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from *God the Father, * AND from the Lord Jesus Christ, the *Son of the Father, * in truth and love.”
In 1 Corinthians 8:6, it clearly says “But to us there is but *ONE GOD, THE FATHER, * of whom are all things, and WE IN HIM; and *ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, * by whom are all things, and WE BY HIM.”
In John 16:25-27, Jesus tells us that he will show us PLAINLY OF THE FATHER, who he came forth from (John 8:42).

Only those who are blinded by Satan will continue to say Jesus is God, even though Jesus fervently told us it is his Father who is the one true God (John 17:3). Those of God know that the Father dwells IN them, and the same is true of Jesus (John 17:21-23, 2 Corinthians 6:16).
