Great recommendations! Your channel introduced me to Horrified, and I just recently played Mystery at the Abbey.

A really fun cooperative card game my family likes to play is *The Crew* (there’s a space themed version and an underwater themed version of the game). It’s really fun! You have objective cards where different people have to win a certain amount of tricks, or avoid winning certain cards, etc, but you are limited in revealing what cards you have in your hand. It makes it tricky to work together with limited information.

A similar game, but not cooperative, is a card game called, *Skull King.* It’s pirate themed, and you get points by betting how many tricks you think you can win each round. Another game that’s really fun and made by the same company (Grandpa Beck) that made Skull King is *Cover Your Assets.*
Think monopoly, but with cards, and instead of properties you’re placing and stealing sets of cards with different values, which increase in value the more times they are stolen.

great video and a fantastic list! I'd definitely include Camel Up!, Quacks of Quindlenberg and Takenoko in with these, our daughter especially loves Camel Up.

The Century: Golem Edition trio of games are always good for family gaming occasions: simple rules with fun decisions, cute theme and tactile feeling from the gems, each game has a solid core mechanism (deckbuilding vs grid movement activation vs worker placement), and you can combine the 3 games into 7 different permutations if the players want "more going on".

Space Base is definitely a winner with us. A few off the top of my head at the moment, Fabled Fruit is a great game for anyone. Castle Dice and King's Forge are a pretty easy teach and to play as well.

Love lots of these as family games, but I would put Carcassonne on my list. Great for families. Everyone I've introduced it too has loved it... young and old.
