Divisibility Rule for 4. #shorts

A number is divisible by 4 if the number formed by its digits in tens and units place is divisible by 4.

In other words, a number is divisible by 4, if the number formed by its last 2 digits is divisible by 4.

Yes because the last two digit is 28 and 28 comes in the table of 4

The rule works like that because 100 is a multiple of 4. That's because the last 2 digits are exactly the same every 100 numbers. Additionally multiples of 4 end in 0, 4 or 8 if the 10s digit is even or in 2 or 6 if the 10s digit is odd is because 20 is a multiple of 4 and is the 1st multiple of 10 that is a multiple of 4. Also the last digit is exactly the same every 20 numbers

Those are the divisibility rules of all numbers where you just have to look at the last 2 digits

4: The last 2 digits are a multiple of 4; the 10s digit is even and the last digit is 0, 4 or 8, or the 10s digit is odd and the last digit is 2 or 6

20: The number ends in 00, 20, 40, 60 or 80

25: The number ends in 00, 25, 50 or 75

50: The number ends in 00 or 50

100: The number ends in 00
