I was using a Canon RP that I pair with an RF 16mm f/2.8 lens for vlogs and I was considering upgrading to the Canon R8 and adding an RF 24mm f/1.8 lens specifically for night vlogs. However, despite the upgrade, stabilization would have remained an issue, and I wasn't keen on lugging around my Zhiyun Crane M3 everywhere. As a solution, I opted for the Pocket 3 instead, which not only saved me about $1k, but also significantly improved my mobility by reducing the amount of gear I need to carry. The Pocket 3 has proven to be an excellent choice for run-and-gun shooting. I've been really impressed with this compact camera.

For your next videos: vlog field test review any mirrorless full frame camera Prores Raw video with voigtlander or zeiss lens, with Sound devices mixPre and xlr Sennheiser boom mic (with wind blimp deadcat).
That then could be used as the reference standard for pic quality and sound quality.
