This opening definitely giving off Tales of vibes. So do the characters. Guess that is to be expected since it is basically a Bandai Namco game. Looking forward to playing this in Global.

Hope they have long term plans for Blue Protocol. Story focus is a huge plus for me. I wouldn't have thought about playing it without one. Another key component for me is exploration. I'd hope this game could fill my Tales of void to an extent. I'll have to wait to see how combat is. So far it looks promising.

How can you not shed a tear as soon as that chorus comes up? HYDE and L'arc~en~ciel are nothing short of legendary and hearing them in this intro is a godsend.

If you haven't realized already, there are a few classes that were not mentioned/implemented in beta version of the game:
Gunslinger at 0:51 seems like a DPS focus class with AoE for mobs clearing
Summoner/ Spirit Waver at 0:53 is exactly what they called, manipulating/summoning creatures
the dual sword-wielding girl at 0:46 seems like a Twin Striker, but the moveset is more of Bandit/Assassin class
the guy at 0:42 and every single scene after that features him using a lance, which means there should be a Lancer class somewhere

How the background is drawn, how the effect, the particles, the camera movement, Yes this is definitely Tales of Series style, but I'm not surprised cause Blue Protocol is Japanese game after all, and obviously the same studio who in Tales of projects is here to, Nice.

This reminds me a lot of Tales of Arise. It was quite unexpected that they did an opening for Blue Protocol, but I love it.

So from this Opening we can at least find several weapon classes for future updates : MC is a Spear user, Blonde girl is a rifle user, short blue haired girl is dual blade user, purple haired girl is a rodless caster and the Blue Ojisan Knight is a dual saber/bladed spear like weapon user.
