Equatorial Guinea

Equatorial Guinea is a small country located in Central Africa, bordered by Cameroon to the north and Gabon to the south and east, with a small coastline on the Gulf of Guinea to the west. The country has a total area of approximately 28,000 square kilometres and a population of around 1.4 million people.

The current president is Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who has been in power since 1979, making him one of the longest-serving leaders in the world. The country has been criticised for its poor human rights record, lack of political freedom, and corruption.
