Good video but pronouncing words is terrible 😂 use Google translator to pronounce the Dutch words and edit it in the video.

Certain parties can be gezellig, but I never heard anyone claim raves were gezellig.

As a Dutchie, I pretty much agree with the first 10 or 11 but after that, the words lose their uniqueness rapidly. Words like tjilpen, vervent (fervent, actually), bluf, puur, haalbaar, moppen and even muggenziften have perfect translations in English.

Bij uitwaaien. Eerst hoor je heel duidelijk uitwaaien. Vlak daarna is het ineens zoiets als juutwoajen. Dit is niet serieus te nemen!

It’s unfortunate that what could have been a fun, informative and accurate series about the Netherlands, is actually an unnecessarily stereotypical and more disappointingly, factual sloppy affair. 🧡

I miss the worse Dutch word not translatable “apartheid”. It’s so not translatable that they use it in English.

"Gezellig" derived from "Gezel" what means "Company\friend\friends". So it is something like: "with nice people" and "in a warm and welcoming place"

Did you ask the Dutch how to pronounce their language before making your video?

Vervent? don't you mean fervent, at least thats the word the dutch would use that fits your description.

'Uitwaaien' is more like going outside for a walk and getting some fresh air. It doesn't have to be in nature or at the beach. It could be anywhere. (Uit=out/outside Waaien=the wind blowing)

Like any non-English European speaker knows, the English language isn't really suitable for precise communication.
