We show our appreciation for a line of cameras made specifically for street photographers. Josh gets his hands on an Fujfilm X-Pro 3 for the first time (and loves it) and Shane makes a comparison to previous model, the X-Pro 2.

“Our lives are filled with screens every day”. What a refreshing take on how things are. Like many of my generation, I took up photography in the early 1980s when shooting film was the only option and that’s how I learnt my craft. Fast forward to today, I absolutely love digital and what it gives photographers, but I still appreciate the option of slowing down the whole process and it giving me a cost-effective alternative to my film days. My X-Pro 3 gives me just that. I absolutely love it.

I share your philosophy. I once owned a Leica M6 and sought to digitize the 35mm Summilux lens I had at the time. I did this with a wonderful Fujifilm XE3. Since then, I've owned 7 more Fujis X. In summary, I greatly enjoyed the XE3, and I ended up keeping only an Xpro1, with its sweet sensor and marvelous colors, and the Xpro3, the best digital camera I've ever had. This is my experience.

I got sick of my bulky DSLR in 2020 and somehow decided to make the leap to Fujifilm with this beautiful camera and I've never looked back. It's such a shame that Fuji don't seem keen on releasing a new iteration, really hoping they realise how much people love this camera.

Unloaded my DSLR about five years ago and went to the x system w/ x100T. Absolutely loved the camera. Moved on to Xpro3 last year and that’s it. This camera brings photography back to me. The most enjoyable camera I’ve ever used. It makes me concentrate on photography and nothing else. Fuji x system is the

I bought the X-Pro 2 after seeing your earlier video about it, and sold my X100T to get it. And I honestly love it. I think I will happily keep it until falls apart, which will probably take a long time as it is truly the AK47 of cameras. I have dropped it on concrete, taken it on 100s of hikes, used it in storms, freezing cold temperatures, at the beach and everything else and it just keeps working. Its also really fun making JPG recipes which 9/10 achieve the look I want.

Remember that the mini screen can be switched to an customizable info screen just like on the top panels of the X-H series.

When I left paid photography (former newspaper shooter), I looked for a lightweight alternative to my pair of Nikons and fast f2.8 zooms. I ended up with a pair of x100S bodies with the WCL on one and a TCL on the other. I ended up selling both and getting the X-Pro2 with the XF 35mm f2 WR lens for a weather resistant setup. The added plus is that is roughly the setup Cartier-Bresson used (Leica M3 and 50mm Summicron), my all time favorite shooter. When I got the Pro2 I compared it with the Pro3 and did not see anything that would prompt me to spend the additional bucks.

This is my all-time favourite camera, and it's tied with the Nikon FM2n. Both offer everything you need and nothing you don't. Both have excellent glass available for the system. Both can hold their own against their era-appropriate counterparts, regardless of price or popularity. I've shot both for paid gigs and tons of just everyday documenting & street.

The X-Pro 3 is a pragmatic camera for a specific type of shooter. You either don't like it at all, or you're over the moon about it. Either way you sway, I'd understand, but personally I'm in the camp of the latter.

This range was the first mirrorless cameras I truly considered buying . What was there not to like ? In the end I choose a different mirrorless brand, but still retain a love for this creation by Fuji. In fact, back in the film days my first SLR was the ST 701. From there I also shot 6x6 and 5x4, along with Nikon and Canon gear . So you see, Fuji has been in my blood for decades and is a brand I can recommend to photographers seeking something a little special .

Thanks for the video .

I like how it still has a screen but just a bit more hidden away. Unlike the few digital leica M-Ds and Pixii which has no screen at all.
I get the appeal but you probably wouldn't take it out as much on vacation. The Xpro3 seemingly did pretty much everything right.
Great video!

Love my xpro3, it does seem to be the ultimate ‘marmite’ camera…you’ll either love it or hate it, there seems to be no in between 📸

On point ! I learned on a Leica IIIf as a young boy, then decades later the X-Pro1 was the first digital camera I really loved using. Today, I do my professional work with GFX and X-T5 / X-H2S ... but my "always with me camera" is the X-Pro3 ....

I really enjoy the Pro1 and the softness of its sensor. I’m only interested in the Pro3 because the hidden display makes the camera look… clean.

I Love my X-PRO3 AND still shoot with my M6, These X-PRO3 are actually underrated. OUTSTANDING camera.

I don't feel like it's necessary to upgrade my XPro-2. It does everything I need it to do. It's a true gem of a street camera. Perfect for street photography or almost anything rather than a heavy bulky SLR.

Yes, there is something special about the XPRO2. Mine sits right next to my XT3, and it's the XPRO2 I pick up everytime I go out to shoot street photography. I have more fun and feel more creative with the XPRO2. Why? Magic!

Love my xpro3. Def can't go back to SLR styles now.

One of the deal-breakers why I sold my fuji is the focus by wire. You can't beat Leica's focusing on the Q series. BUT the flip screen is what I like the most about the X-Pro3

Love my X-Pro 3, picked one up when it came out, a real pleasure to shoot with . Sadly my rear / back screen has died, main covered screen still works for now . Def a design flaw as I hear of many other owners having the same issue .
