The dish is called Shakshuka its a north africa/middle eastern dish, one of the best meals you can try at anytime😋😋
never saw one with cheese though

We have something like this in the Philippines. The only difference is that we mix the eggs with the tomatoes. We call it "Sarsiyado".

I never use tomato sauce in a can, only fresh tomatoes, it taste much better!

That is NOT MOZZARELLA CHEESE that’s being used when cooking the eggs! That’s grated Parmesan; what was added at the end. 🙄. The dish looks yummy, though.

It might add 10 seconds to the video, but the food would be much nicer if you cored and blanched the tomato (to easily remove tomato skin)?! Actual preparation time might increase by 3 minutes. Worth the minor effort.
