CSS position properties (relative, absolute, fixed, position sticky, and floats) — Webflow tutorial

Using the position property is one of many ways you can change the layout and positioning of an element to create unique web layouts. You can even specify the stacking order of positioned elements that overlap other elements using z-index.

Here we’ll cover the values you can set for the Position and Float properties:

00:00 - Introduction
00:26 - Static positioning
00:55 - Relative positioning
03:33 - Absolute positioning
06:15 - Fixed positioning
10:11 - Sticky positioning
13:17 - Floats & clears

I think I’m falling hopelessly in love with Webflow. This is the second Webflow employee in as many days that I have been given no choice, but to refer to as delightful.

It used to be that the only viable way to learn something about Webflow was to watch Ran Segal over at Flux. Webflow university existed, but the content often felt like a chore. But now, now!?
