KAJ was a few inches taller 100%, however, as with many taller nba players, excluding Yao, Shaq’s overall mass and stature made the difference seem less than it actually was. Also, camera angles can do funny things. It just goes to show though the physical size of prime Shaq. Absolute monster!!

I remember Chamberlain and Shaq stood side by said back in 1993-94, Chamberlain made Shaq damn near look like he was Jordan's height lol.

It could be the angle of the camera that makes it seem like shaq is taller. It could also be that jabbar is not standing straight like shaq is but that happens with age, we tend to not stand as straight as when we were younger. But Kareem is definitely taller than shaq about 2 inches atleast.

Shaq was 6'11'' and 3/4 without shoes. There is a video of him on the TNT set measuring just over 7'0'' in big bball shoes.
KAJ was 7'1'' and 3/4 barefooted. He has said it many times.

Kareem fighting Bruce Lee in a movie was the weirdest comparison 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Kareem is massive and he was all muscle as well!!!! In Kareem's Prime he was the best to ever play!!! 88 and 2 in College an undefeated season 3 NCAA Championships he couldn't play as a freshman they didn't allow it and they literally banned dunking because of him!!! He pretty much did the same exact thing in HS won 3 State Titles and in the NBA he continued to just dominate all the way till he was retired!!!! Remember he scored all his points not being a 3 point shooter as well!!!!

Shaq although listed at 7' 1" was actually a little bigger than that, just look at him when next to Pau Gasol who was recently remeasured at 7' 1" himself, and Kareem in his day was probably at least 7' 3". All Titans 💪
