As a football player you're not gonna look around to see if you can let it roll in. You see the ball, you see the goal and you make sure you score.

Only Harry Kane knows how he managed to convince the PL Dubious Goals committee that that ball touched him.

5:12, people moan about VAR being bad or whatever. But take a look at that goal. Offside and he scores it with his arm!

That was the level of officiating before VAR. People forget how bad some of the decisions

The Suarez Kuyt one wasn't really a steal. The ball was going so slow that surely a Man U defender clears it if Kuyt doesn't bury it.

How Harry Kane claimed that goal I’ll never know 😂

I don't mind players escorting the ball into the net just to make sure. What I *do* mind is when they run away from the assister and try to celebrate the goal by themselves.

Harry Claim was the only goal that stealing from his teammate without even touching the ball. THE HIGHEST RANK OF Goal stealing

The Suarez one would've been an own goal if Kuyt didn't tap it in anyway.

Some of the goals probably would not have been scored if the “thief” had not distracted the goalkeeper/defenders.

Kane quite literally STOLE Eriksens goal. Still won't forgive him for pressuring Spurs into appealing to the FA to get him recognized for that goal.

If you are in position, onside, and the ball is not yet over, regardless of whether or not it's going in, you simply MUST put it in. Take no chances.

Suarez gets some deserved stick but he was just happy for the team when Kuyt nicked what would have been a great goal. Props.

A majority of these are just good thinking, you gotta make sure it goes in

The David Silva one isn’t really a stolen goal as KDB isn’t going for goal there and the keeper is probably getting it if Silva doesn’t touch it

You say "stolen" as if the last person touching the ball did it to claim the goal, most of them clearly did it to make sure their team scored, because in the moment it wasn't 100% that was going in. Some of them wouldn't even have gone in if the last player wasn't there to confuse the keeper, so it's not that bad that they end up touching it.

The Kuyt and K. Jones one actually looks like the better option; while in both instances the ball was going in, if i was the player, i would be very anxious at the pace it was going in with.

when suarez touched the ball it was a moment of pure magic

Verdicts:

1. 0:10 Coleman --> Calvert-Lewin: NOT STOLEN. Rodri could potentially have cleared it if Calvert-Lewin hadn't gone for it.
2. 0:50 Eriksen --> Kane: STOLEN. Kane is no where near it. Fellaini would probably have touched it with his hair but Kane is clearly a thief in this instance.
3. 1:20 Suarez --> Kuyt: NOT STOLEN. Evra touches the ball and since Suarez' shot wasn't goal-bound, it would have been an own goal if Kuyt hadn't touched it.
4. 2:06 Fonte --> Schneiderlin: NOT STOLEN. Probably would have gone in anyway but that is not completely obvious to Schneiderlin and it would have been much worse to leave it in case it was not on target.
5. 2:48 Olsson --> Rondón: STOLEN. Clearly going in anyways. It is, however, difficult to blame Rondón for making sure when he is running right into the ball anyway.
6. 3:19 De Bruyne --> D. Silva: UNCLEAR. David Silva looks to touch it but it may well have been the defender in front of him.
7. 3:51 Murphy --> K. Jones: NOT STOLEN. It may be going wide and Kenwyne Jones has no idea if someone is behind him.
8. 4:27 Yakubu --> Cahill: UNCLEAR. Still not sure who actually touches it.
9. 5:00 Berbatov --> Chimbonda: NOT STOLEN. Chimbonda is actively trying to avoid the ball. What is bollocks, however, is that he is both offside and scoring with his arm so while it is not stolen, it definitely should not have stood.
10. 5:30 Matic --> Pogba. NOT STOLEN. The ball is probably going wide after hitting both a defender and the goalkeeper's hand. Pogba does still display the foolishness that is so characteristic of him, though, as he should know he is in an offside position and therefore not touch the ball in any case.

I don't think Suarez-Kuyt one was considered stealing. Man U that season was just that good, and out of a sudden Suarez pulled a fast one over them. I'm not exactly Liverpool fan, but I just want that ball to cross in as fast as possible, and was reliefed when Kuyt blasted it in.
