Just received and tested out this lens. Even with having to use the adapter ring. Don't see anything wrong with it, seems to work just fine. No black ring at either full wide angle or full zoom in when using this lens. Only thing is if you're outside or inside and want to zoom in, you can only zoom in about 3/4 ways before things get blurry. No complaints.

I like mine too!!! Some people say it's bad quality, but I see no difference. Plus, it looks cool. Lol
