Pissed! - Windscreen Glare with No Returns Allowed

My new windscreen for my Kawasaki Versys X300 - while being good at what it advertises, has one glaring issue... the glare! Its impossible to see this issue until you install it, however once you install it, you no longer are eligible to return it. What a fine policy! That's like saying you are eligible to return it only if you are completely satisfied with the product, however if you are not satisfied, you forfeit your ability to return it.

I never noticed a glare on the stock windscreen, and I don't know if its normal for aftermarket windscreens like this to have excessive glare, but with the help of plastidip, I hopefully have a solution!

Good to know. Thanks. That would be annoying.

No returns? That bites! Thanks for the heads-up! Anyone have any problems with Madstad windscreens? That’s a lot of work plastidipping, but looks nice!

Have you ridden at night with it yet? I think I recall another complaint about this aftermarket windscreen being that it catches some light from the headlight and creates even more noticeable glare/glow at night. (I might be remembering a different model though). Maybe check that out in the garage at night before committing to returning home after dark on the bike.
That too I suppose could be solved by plasti-dipping the bottom edge of the windscreen where it catches light (you wouldn't be able to see it anyway), but still, if I'm remembering the aftermarket windscreen correctly, that's one of those things you wouldn't even think to check for because of course a windscreen shouldn't be lit up by the headlight.

Have you had a look at anti-glare coat for the windscreen?
