In my opinion we should sell when you get profit approx 20% or above, because if you need money and the profit percentage is 6% then you wasted time invested like 1, 2, 3 years

Why just personal financial goals? Why not sell at a point when the sentiment of the market and the market itself are at a record high?
It’s sure to correct soon again at least to some extents, as we know we can’t perfectly time it but we can sell at historical highs in IRR terms for a fund. We may miss a bit of the profit at the end but then again, we may not. What is your team’s take on that?
