This guys gonna run music a couple years from now! I see Mustafa as the hood poet version of Sampha.. something we truly needed. Our communities are raging, primarily because of all this drill music which plays an influence onto the younger minds. This is beautiful man. I really hope the hood shifts it’s mentality by music similar to this. This song is the behind the scenes/after math of hood violence.. we glorify the killing in drill/trap music part but shadow off the grieving part. Yet brother Mustafa is bringing all parts of it to life. This type of music can even make a person from the suburbs who has bad views on the hood understand/have empathy. It’s all about perspective in this dunya. God bless you all, follow your dreams!
