On July 13th I had a chance to go for a ride in the B-17 bomber owned by the Collings Foundation during their visit to KFNL (Fort Collins/Loveland Airport).
Riding in this flying piece of history was pretty amazing, and gave me a new perspective on what it must have been like for the flight crews who flew these airplanes during wartime.
