Go shorty, it's your birthday!

50 Cent isn't going to win any father of the year award as he's getting ready to celebrate the end of having to pay child support for his eldest son Marquise Jackson.

Marquise turns 20 on Friday and 50 took to Instagram to share his joy of not having to pay his way anymore.

“Child support release party Friday 13, Club Lust 1:00 AM Happy Hour drinks on me,” the rapper captioned a photo of a Friday the 13th movie poster featuring Jason's hockey mask . “Tom petty is alive! Ladies with no kids, free admission. Ladies who didn’t collect child support, free admission.”

While 50 and his son have had a strained relationship to say the least, Marquise didn't take the jab lying down and quickly responded to his father's joke.

“Damn, only if your new TV show was this funny,” Marquise shot back on Instagram.

The new show in question is his father's sketch comedy show 50 Central which recently premiered on BET.

Beat the odds

The father and son feud stem's back to 50's battle with Marquise's mother Shaniqua Tompkins.

The former couple have been at it for years, with Shaniqua claiming 50 tried to evict her from his home. The house later suspiciously burned down to the ground in 2008, with Shaniqua claiming 50 tried to murder her.

Regardless of the the parents fighting, it's a shame a father and son can't make amends.

Incidentally, the "In da Club" singer does have a good relationship with his five-year-old son Sire.
