The current economic system prioritises short-term gains over long-term value; me over we; now over the future; inequity over justice; profits over people and planet.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. The B Corp movement, led by B Lab & Sistema B, positively impacts over 700,000 workers at over 8,000 companies in over 162 industries and 95 countries.

Together, we’re transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.

"A force for good." Depends on your definition of 'good':

"From mobilizing climate action with leaders across sectors, to dismantling white supremacy in our network and broader business community, to organizing against wealth and gender inequality, the B Corp movement is taking collective action on the issues that matter most to our global economic system."

There's no information about its shareholder structure or who owns it, runs it or who started it. It's a cerification system for 'for-profit' companies that appears to do nothing to reward non-profit behaviour, so isn't it a weak system of peacocking?

I haven't delved deeply, but I'd be interested to know what its certification has to say about respecting national sovereignty.

Btw, the UN's SDGs don't include overpopulation.

Would really love to see more points awarded to vegan businesses. The negative impact of animal agriculture on people, animals and environment is undeniable.

Can I still become a B-Corp if I own the majority (75-85%) of the company?
Are B-Corps allowed to buy paintings & art for their corporate art collections?

*your website mentions companies owned by 40% of employees get special recognition

I found this video after noticing it mentioned in an email from DryRobe. What a load of woke nonsense and I will now be boycotting DryRobe.

shame on you ! who do you think to be ? how can you compare a Alfa Romeo Bertone Carabo ( 00:48), a Masterpiece of design awarded by everybody, to the destruction of the forests ? How many people do you employ and how much welfare do you generate compared to the Italia design of BERTONE along the years ?

STOP LABELING/FRAMING/NARRATIVE the word "PROFIT" as a BAD THING. WHY?
Because PROFIT is spelled, L-I-F-E! And where their is no PROFIT/LIFE,
there is D-E-A-T-H. PROFIT IS GOOD! PROFIT GIVES LONG
