I’m blown away by his touch on the passes. Some incredible arm talent.

I remember when I was 12 watching RC throw, run and leap over defenders for a touchdown. I’d never seen a quarterback behave the way he did. Amazing talent! 🏈

Randall Cunningham had two careers in his era the same way Mike Vick had two careers in his respective era. You had the early years where they were the ultimate weapon and cheat code against defenses and then you had their later years where they became more mature, played the QB position the best possible way, and only used their mobility when necessary. It’s almost scary how both Cunningham and Vick’s NFL careers sort of mirror each other. Maybe their reasons for being away from the game is somewhat different but still it’s like watching the first movie and then Hollywood deciding to make a sequel that’s just as good if not better.

He was my childhood sports hero and I had a chance to meet him at an autograph show several years ago. He was so good to his fans. I will never forget it.

His brother was a top running back for the Patriots in the late 70s and his daughter is an Olympic High jumper (and he the coach). Theyve got some genes in that family.

Randall gave alot of team fits back in the late 80's, early 90's.

Its god damn criminal that Randall STILL isn't in the NFL HoF when he was THE original dual threat. He defined the mold that created players like Vick and Lamar Jackson

There will never be another Randall Cunningham. What a unique and unbelievable talent. One of the biggest crimes in the history of the Eagles was the inability of Buddy, Kotite, and even Gruden to properly utilize him and the rest of the team. We should have won multiple Superbowls.

Die hard Steelers fan but even Ben's two SB wins couldn't change the fact that Randall is my all-time favorite QB, so far ahead of his time and proved he could still be elite using only his arm during his years in MIN.

Underated LEGEND and a Hall of famer in my books.A QB and a athlete ahead from his era.If Randall had born little later would be a bigger star.I'm 22 and i love athletic-running QB's.He was the first athletic-running QB, who lead the way for the new era, so i always admire him, even if i didn't see him play live.

This guy was so much fun to watch, Randall in his prime was so special, he is the reason why I'm an Eagle fan to this day. I didn't have this much fun watching football until Vick came on the scene.

Phenomenal arm talent and as good of an athlete as anyone ever in the Qb position. Very accurate when locked in on a receiver. With the Eagles was slow to process information and wasn't helped with lack of sophisticated offensive scheming by the Eagles when he was young. Scary to think how good he could have been if he put it together passing like he did one season with the Vikings and all other aspects of his game earlier in his career. Could/should have been a multiple MVP winner, a talent out of this world

I just wish he played for a coach that utilized his abilities the way modern coaches do for QBs. But to be fair, Steve Young had a steep learning curve with the West Coast offense and had to blend his talents in. I do think Randall in the right situation could’ve been even more incredible. Just surviving that awful Eagles o-line that got him and Ron Jaworski sacked 104 times IN ONE SEASON was impressive.

If Randall Cunningham and Mike Quick played today, they’d both be in the Hall of Fame. Buddy Ryan did the greatest disservice any coach has ever done to an elite player. He was so obsessed with defense, he refused to invest on offense. His coaching to Randall Cunningham was “go out there and make 4 plays and the defense will do the rest”. I’m not making that up. That was Buddy Ball. In 1986 The Eagles allowed 104 sacks. Just under 7 per game. That’s not a typo. The only time Randall ever had good coaching/supporting cast(1998 Minnesota), he was 1st team All-Pro. At age 35.

Mike Quick had 5 straight Pro-Bowls. 2x First Team All-Pro. He could have been Justin Jefferson had he played on any other playing surface aside from the concrete at Veterans Stadium. He would be a HOFer. Even most Eagles fans don’t realize how good he was.

Randall Is one of the most underratted honestly he was robbed of 1 if not 2 MVPS in his career and should have at least 1 ring.

My all-time favorite Eagle. My first memories of watching my 🦅 play started with him in the early 90’s. These highlights are a treat for me because I was too young to see him play in the 80’s. He should be in the HOF.

Randall came from Santa Barbara High School, where I graduated in 1973 (Randall graduated from SBHS 8 years later). I knew his brothers Sam and AC. What many people don’t know is that Randall was one of the best punters that ever lived. As an alumni, I saw some of his punts in high school that were phenomenal.
