FSX TWEAK GUIDE 2013

Hey Guys, this is episode number 5 in my "How to" FSX series. Please note that this is HOW I do things, others may disagree, but again it's just my way! :)

Applied the changes in this video to my FSX setup, it worked brilliantly, FSX has never looked or performed this well before. Thanks Matt for posting this miracle fix. (Well for me anyway).

Thanks Matt for the video! Using these tweaks has made FSX feel like a new game for me. Its much smoother and more stable now and now I don't have trouble loading some of the intensive things I had before.

Thanks for this Matt.  I had shelved my FSX it was so laggy even with all the settings at low and consequently didn't "work" and looked 'orrible!!  Using your tweaks, my system now runs brilliantly with the sliders more towards the right than the left ... it's gorgeous and averaging 20+ fps.  I have fallen in love with FSX - cheers mate.

I dont know which one which worked for me. But my frames from 17-20 FPS has been boosted to 37-40 FPS in Coolsky DC9 which is the most heavy hitter in FSX! With default plane like glider, from 20-30 is now at 75-80 FPS! Thanks for this video. You helped me alot! With the low fps im experiencing with FSX, I was already thinking to get Prepar3D. But now Im staying with FSX. Thanks again Matt Davies!

worked wonders with a bit more tweaking went from 6 frames with orbx addon scenery to over 50 frames!!!!

What a difference Matt has made.. Stock fsx was showing just 12 fps.. Now i got Orbx global and LC Europe 60-70fps!!!! QX9650 cpu with an ATI 5870.. using antialiasing with catalyst control panel

Really really helpful, tips from you and one other you tube guy have transformed FSX using 4 screens on one pc with gtx 960 card and monitor outlets on the pc I am 17 FPS on worst airports and 30 to 50 in the air! Thank you

Matt after going through numerous tweaks and config changes and getting nowhere, I was about to give up on the will to live but I found this gem of a post. Matt, this just did the job thank you! Are there any 2014 recommendations besides your DirectX 10 video?

ive got an AMD FX6300 and a Saphire R9 270x and i cant believe how fast it runs.Its just a matter of setting it up.The AMD catalyst cont.cntr. has all settings to help you so its really straight forward ÷>

This caused severe issues for me. I only changed settings relevant to me and definitely not a novice. This started causing blank/black screen issues in fullscreen mode which will not go away despite new fsx.cfg files, fresh installs of FSX and even fresh installs of Windows. Pissed off is an understatement.

I dont recoment to copy all of his tweaks without Testing! My Pc isn´t ver differnt to his but when I just copied all of the tweaks my FSX crashed. So test every single tweak! But thats a great video! :)
