Frank Turek is no stranger to tough questions concerning the Bible. He's answered many questions regarding faith, science, but what about one the most controversial questions in Christianity... Hell. In this video, Frank Turek responds to an objection regarding a seemingly contradictory position. I provide some commentary and examples that support Frank's points.

I grew up in a household that essentially mocked and I would care to say, despised Christianity. Needless to say, I am now 32 years old and have not found my heart surrendering to God, as you can probably imagine. Last year I really began to wrestle with Faith without direct cause and have now found myself binge watching all of your videos. I hope that I find it in my heart to be ready to surrender very soon. I say all of this with care and respect, and wanted to thank you for the work you are doing here to provide all of us these messages. I wish you well.

I pray for everyone reading this suffering from chronic pain, sickness, or health issues to be healed in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit!

"Torment is regret without repentance." Wow. Good explanation.

"You murdered someone? Well, I want to be loving, so I'll let you go free."
Imagine how aghast you'd be hearing a judge say this, yet this is exactly what the people offended by God's wrath argue God is evil for not saying.

Even though we read different descriptions about hell and may disagree as to the level of suffering, NONE of the descriptions sound good and all sound awful. I think hell has to be described in a horrific way or else we would not have a fear of going there and would not be as urgent about getting reconciled with God. We must repent and trust in Christ’s work on the cross. ❤🙏🏼

If you spend your entire life rejecting Jesus, God will respect your decision and will not force you to spend eternity with Him.

I am SO glad I saw this video. I have always wondered about that verse in the Bible about the man in hell wanting to warn others about hell. This explanations makes so much sense now.

I enjoy your videos a lot. As A Pastor I find many additional inspirational topics for study in God’s Word. This helps in being a Disciple, (and teaching Disciples) of Jesus to “HAVE ANSWERS”. Praying for your continued ministry. Thanks, and God Bless

The real question is why would anyone choose hell over a loving God? God doesn't send anyone there, you do that yourself.

Please don't forget that repentance is also part of salvation. "The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, 31 because He has fixed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed; and of this He has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead."" (Acts 17:30-31)

It's not a work because God is the One who grants it, but it occurs sometime during an effective salvation period. (2 Tim 2:24-26)

Great video; keep up the good work. 🙏✝️

The story of Lazarus is a parable. The parable never indicated the rich man immediately went to hell nor Lazarus immediately went to heaven. How can people go to heaven or hell without the books being opened?
Revelation 20:12
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the >>BOOKS WERE OPENED<<: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

God doesn’t send people to hell, people choose not to live with God.
