BYU Cougars are 9-0 on the 2024 College Football season with some late game theatrics and a game-winning FG by Will Ferrin. The 2024 Holy War ended with a 22-21 win for the Cougars and they remain in 1st in the Big 12 Conference Standings.

Dear Big-12 Commish,
With our 4-5 season thus far, we haven't felt welcomed or appreciated by the Big-12. Your ref actually enforcing the hold our player put on BYU was the last straw. We liked things better in the Pac-12, so we're going back to join our 2 brothers in the Pac-3 (hopefully Pac-4!).

the flag on the last play was for the Utah AD running onto the field mid-play to yell at a ref! I feel embarrassed for that guy, what a day.

Who cares what ppl say about your officials? Let them voice their opinion. If you have to fine ADs for calling our your officials, address the issues with your staff. Yall are not perfect. Yall also have stuff to work on. It's very childish to fine someone for voicing their opinion and not take the criticism.

Ha Big 12 omits the replay of the holding call play

Hearing U of U AD & Ute fans complain about the referees reminded me of the 2003 Cubs in the NLCS.

Anyone remember Steve Bartman? Bartman didn't lose the game for the Cubs when he reached out to catch the fly ball the Cubs outfielder was hoping to catch.

But the Cubs did spiral after the incident. Allowing 8 more runs in that game 6. And losing game 7.

Utah can make excuses and point at ghosts (& referees). Like Cubs and their fans did in the 2003 NLCS. But poor Mr. Bartman wasn't at fault, though he became their scape goat.

BYU needs to continue to take the ups and the downs in stride. And with class.
