The Legacy Visa Credit Card is an invite-only card that approves applicants. The card's grace period is at least 25 after the close of each monthly billing cycle.

The only way to get the Legacy Visa Credit Card is via a prequalifying invitation. You can then apply for the card by submitting information about your income, expenses, and debt.

To raise your chances of being approved for a higher credit limit, pay your bill on time for at least six straight months, reduce your outstanding debt, and update the income the issuer has on file. The issuer will be more likely to increase your credit limit if the revised income clearly shows that you can afford a higher limit.

When you request a Legacy Credit Card credit limit increase, the issuer will conduct a hard pull of your credit report, which will cause a short-term dip in your credit score. The issuer cannot do a hard pull without your permission.
