I never would have thought that I'd appreciate a far too accurate depiction of politics in a pokemon game, but here we are.

The way the politics is handled here is like how the philosophy part of black and white was handled. Not meant to imitate real life or throw any kind of shade or whatever on anything from real life, just adding scenarios that feel like a logical part of the pokemon world. I think thats why it works well instead of some types of media that are just propaganda covered as forms of media
