Making pants isn't hard, making pants that FIT is hard. I've made so many beautiful pairs of pants that are trash because they don't fit well.

Is it possible that you create a video to show us how to attach rivets to pant packets? Somehow I find jeans and even corduroy pants not complete without them but I have no idea how and with what to attach these neither I know how to chose them. Thank you for wonderful videos so informative and nice to watch.

I started sewing in 2020 and actually started off making PJ pants. I'd say PJ pants are pretty easy. However I did inseam pockets all wrong. I just recently tried the waist line type pocket (Not sure of the name) and it was so easy I really don't know why I thought it'd be hard.
I've yet to try doing a fly. So far all pants I've made have had elastic waist bands.

I love those teal ones - the thin drape of the viscose(?) twill fabric in that classic silhouette looks really nice. So if you were wondering if that fabric worked in a jeans style cut, it was a success! I'm going to have to remember that combo. 🙂

in Britain, we call them Trousers, pants are what you wear underneath, underwear. its only in America that they say pants, so confusing, and alarming at times!! great tutorial however for trousers, thanks x
