Those fancy litter boxes actually monitors your cat's toilet habits better than humanly possible. I can't afford one but my friend said the litter box picked up that her cat was frequently going to box and passing little amounts of urine and there was some blood in it. She was at work so she wouldn't have noticed. Turns out kitty had cystitis. It also lets to know when there are abnormal poops. It's helpful for people with disabilities and even pregnant women who shouldn't handle cat waste.

Scooping the poop is a good way to keep tab on your cat’s health! Take that away and you might miss some worrying health issues! 😮

As a disabled person, the public availability of litter robots has now made it possible for me to own a cat on my own.

Imma automate my life until there are no chores left. I'm just waiting for a shower cleaning robot. Automatic litter box is so worth it

We just started using a catlink box, and it can tell who went in, how long they stayed and what they left.. by reading their tags. It also tells me their weights and when someone has come but not stayed long enough to leave anything

I also don't have to go in and scoop after every time, which is fantastic for me

For people who are disabled or elderly, it may be the only option that allows them to keep their beloved cats. I loved my cats, but before we had so many options in breathable face coverings, my asthma would flare up every time I scooped their litter box. An automatic machine might have been a huge help for me. It may not be for everyone but it may be a great help to many.

I think people pressed for time like young parents may benefit from automation. Or people with chronic illnesses or the disabled. It’s good that there are a variety of options on the market.

I have a litter robot, I absolutely love you can easily check their deposits like you would any other cat litter, you just have to care enough/remember, that's all.

I bought an automatic box after having back surgery. Best thing ever.

The main reason we finally invested in one of the automatic litter boxes is because my back injury has gotten much worse with age. The constant bending over and heavy lifting with doing a full clean of the box with new litter became too much for me. I still monitor my babies as often as possible when they use the bathroom though too see if anything is happening with them.

I had an electric litterbox. One of my cats absolutely LOVED it. He would sit on the end of my bed, and decide to "go". Then he would jump back on the bed and wait the ten minute interval before it would do its thing. When it started to scoop the poop, he'd jump down and rush up to the box and watch the operation with total fascination! Great entertainment. And no smell! Easier for a disabled person like myself. So, before you poo poo something, see how it works for those of us who need help!

I’m someone with really severe depression at times and my cats deserve a clean litter box. It makes it so on my bad days they still have the care they need. It’s the best thing I ever bought for them.

I have two litter robots and just bought another automatic one. With 9 cats, it’s a big time saver. The poop doesn’t go into oblivion, it goes in a bag. You can still see it.

Depends on the person I think, my grandmother has chronic arthritis and can’t bend over or use her shoulders much. But scooping it yourself helps you take note of your cats health

Dear Jackson, I have owned two of the litter maid litter boxes and I can honestly say they only last about a year. For as much as they cost they really should last longer, so now I have two sifting litter boxes that my son has to take care of for me as I am now disabled and my back can't take lifting the sifting part of the boxes.

Litter robots have been a game changer for me, as an adhd person with chronic mental health challenges. My cats are my family but taking care of myself ensuring a daily litter box cleaning can get away from me, and the litter robots mean my furry kids get a clean box every day. I agree there are downsides to them as well, and I don’t think they need to fully replace a manual litter box (yours looks great) but for some of us they’re such a game changer for us and our cats

I have your Letter Genie and I love it!! I have rescued 6 cats and I have 5 litter boxes that I clean at least twice a day. More if I smell a fresh deposit. I never used to be so consistent, but I live alone and no one else is going to clean them. I carry the Litter Genie from box to box and it works great!! No more struggling to make sure I don't accidentally spill my scoops outside the poorly opened plastic grocery bag. Thanks Jackson, for the Litter Genie!!!

I'm autistic and one of my cats never buries their poop. The scent of the poop and the dust makes me very overstimulated to the point where I will be unable to go in the room. Of course no one likes any of the smells but my sensory processing issues makes it so that I physically can't tune out smells. I deal with it now but I definitely want an auto scooper in the future.

Jackson, I'm with u. I Scoop manually and daily for multiple cats, for decades. Cover the smell with litter and scoop. I put a bag in a appropriate size bucket and drop eliminations into the bag. Physically, for me it is not always easy, but keeps me challenged. For those who can't do, then i am glad the robots exist. Keep loving those fur babies.
