Filming the elusive Iberian lynx from a photography hide in Spain

Back in July, I travelled to Spain to spend 5 days in a wildlife photography hide in order to try to see and film the elusive Iberian lynx. After being on the brink of extinction, these species had really positive growth thanks to conservation, and their numbers are on the rise once more. Being able to see these rare cats in the wild was an incredible encounter that left me keen to go back again next year!

As a South African wildlife photographer, I know only too well the amount of patience one needs to get what you want. I was also used to +50deg in hides. I have since moved to Portugal and since there is no African wildlife, I am seriously interested in photographing the Iberian Lynx. I would be interested to know where that hide is. I have been looking at Iberian Lynx tours as another option.
