Materials and Requirements:
Assorted felt colors
Cotton print fabric
Medium weight Heat and Bond
Medium weight fusible woven interfacing
Buttons to suit
Embroidery threads to suit
Fabric Glue
Extra strong thread
1 pair teddy Bear eyes, 6mm or 8mm
Polyester filling
General sewing requirements

Just finished my first chicken and wow!!! That was tricky. I'm not great at hand sewing so I chose this to practice and boy did I ever. It looks a little messy but cute overall. do you have a Rooster Pattern? Roosters are built a little differently and they have more established tail feathers (area) I'd love to see your ideas.

It’s easier to use forceps to hold that curved needle for sewing. We use that when doing stitches sutures.
