I play games for their setting and story, and ive always started to drop off cods once they start getting wacky skins. And with the newer ones that lasts maybe a month.

As long as the hit detection is correct, you can be any skin & it won’t change my experience.
For me the biggest problem is the inconsistencies with sbmm, I either get baby games or completely walked.

I’m glad there doing this but I do think it is cool you can buy skins to change up the look but I do miss when everyone was the default operator that was like associated w that map like if it were snowing he’d be dripped out in snow looking gear or if it were that submarine map you’d be in wet suits

I'm surprised they are doing this cuz people using premium skins also advertises the skins to other people in the match. I won't use this option but I've seen a lot of people asking for it so that's a W.

This has been a feature in Halo MCC for a couple of years and honestly I love it, to have the option to click it on when I want that classic immersive feel is huge, and to each their own if other players don’t want the option it doesn’t affect gameplay at all. Good on cod for trying to implement this, the last cod game I actually felt immersed in the universe was MW 2019 but they ruined it a few months after launch with those stupid tracer packs and operator bundles

The only thing I’m worried about is that is my squad mates going to see the same skin when it’s filtered? If not, that would be bad for call outs. “The one with a helmet is 1 shot”, but to them it’s a ghillie or something lol that would be an issue.
