According to the presup apologetic, they can't use a hammer to hammer in a nail, unless they know what factory the hammer was made in, which workers in the factory helped make it, which machines helped make it, who made those machines, the source of the iron ore that was used for the hammer, the source of the iron ore, that was used in the machines that made the hammer, the source of all the materials used to make the hammer factory, all of the people involved in making the factory, all of the people involved in getting the materials used for the hammer, the machinery and the factory, and on and on...

Or if have an invisible being put a thought in your head (that you can't be sure came from the invisible being) that tells you that the hammer can hammer in a nail.

In my worldview I can just pick up the hammer and see if it works to put a nail in a piece of wood.

Presuppositionalism is a very bold way of defending Christianity, they kind of take for granted that the Bible is on solid historical ground and that the evidential argument is overwhelmingly in favor of the Bible. Presuppositionalism seems like a word game, more like a labyrinth, to avoid grappling with the serious historical problems in the Bible, the internal contradictions, etc.

I used to be a Presupp but I always thought there was something wrong with it. Now I know that it was basically an admission that there is no evidence for Christianity.
