Although i recommend you to show the border changes with the bright colors of the country's color. It can drastically change your mapping videos and the viewers will understeand it better.

Here are a few suggestions I have for you.

1: If there are a lot of frames, make them have a shorter duration.

2: Don't use more than one font for the video.

3: Don't repeatedly use the same song for background music.

150 years ago Libya was already divided between Sanussi and Ottomans forces and the front lines were almost the same
Conclusion : there is in fact two Lybia, the Eastern (Barqa) part is closer to Egypt, the Western (Tarablus) is a part of Maghrib
And we could add a third southern part which is clearly touareg or toubou oriented...
Only a dictator could bring these pieces together...
