unfortunately, the eastern drown-wrestling is the best fighting style below middleweight, maybe welter. it's not that fun to watch but it's very effective and costs fighters so much energy to defend against versus not too much investment or risk from the wrestler.

if this was a video game, the only balance patch changes you could make would be to allow shit like finger attacks, eye pokes etc

I noticed valentina actually pinching alexa towards the end of the 4th (iirc) round when alexa had that loose headlock on her. no point punching, nothing to gain from it, so she tried to just cause some pain I guess.
