The Gundam RX-78F00 was created as a moving exhibit. It was supposed to be on exhibition and a tourist attraction in Yokohama for one year, then moved to a different location, but COVID-19 happened and it got extended. It was to be closed last year but they extended it to this year. There may be another opportunity to see this in the future as it was created as a moving exhibit but there is no infornation at the moment for its next home. Hoping the location for its new home is identifid while I'm still here in Japan.

The problem is that the area that its in has run out of it's lease, and in japan it's nearly impossible to get a extension of the lease--so it has to go because their building new stuff

According to reddit, a reason for this closure is due to the cost of maintenance and it became a safety hazard due to the concrete being weaken and it can cause the dock to collapse and some components will corrode or rust

When i went there during my trip, i frainted on top of the gundam dock, after i woke up, i found out i was in the medic room laying down on a bed with a clear window view of the gundam. Peak experience

The fact that when people see gundam they immediately said "lets put it to Battlefield", people often saying they want peace, but whenever a chance that something maybe powerful was created or discover, instead of wonder how the gundam will help them with their lives or society, they just immediately ask for war.
