Netflix has a new hit sci-fi series in the South Korean show "The Silent Sea." Set in a dystopian future in which water is a scarce resource on Earth, the entire world is searching for hope and answers on other planets, and having no luck. That's when a crew is sent to the deserted Balhae Station on the moon, where everyone supposedly died five years earlier of radiation, in order to retrieve a valuable sample. One of the biggest problem I had with this series is NO ONE literally NO ONE WEARS A MASK AND GLOVES!!
I will forgive them for all the actions they take in the first 3 episodes when they knew nothing. But once they knew that there was a virus like thing in the space ship infecting humans God knows how, these people still refuse to wear protective measures. They even touch those water tube without gloves!!
They are asking to get infected!!

Being a Canadian and knowing that our fresh water is becoming more and more interesting to others; this series albeit sci-fi was interesting to watch. Count me in for and if there is a season 2.

I dont understand why the goverment sent a team to kill the research team? Then why sending another team to retrieve the samples of luna water? Couldnt the soldiers do both tasks?

I think the story it's great along with the drama and the effects, that moon looks amazing! But definitely lacking of some more content. Scenes end and they sometimes begin without explaining exactly what happened before.

If other forces wanted a sample of lunar water, could they not simply chop off one of the icicles sticking out of the base? Freezing didn't eliminate the core properties of the water, it just froze at lower temperatures.

Come on! You can get a frozen sample of the water…. It is all over the station…. The story of the series is okay, but the editor did a very bad job. So many things that doesn’t fit together when you watch it.

Plot: Little girl with hair over her face crawls on floors, walls and ceilings and gets revenge while seeking water on the moon. People die. People get wet and die. People get wet, infected and die. People get wet, infected and don't die.

1. Were did the infinite amount of water came from?
2. Tons of water freezes instantly but Luna walks barefoot in pijamas on the Moon, not even shaking.
3. Luna is also not emotionaly affected by the radiations as she takes a walk on the Moon.☕
