Should add Going to the Sun road in Glacier NP! That was an amazing road as well. Beautiful views for the passenger only. The driver was a bit busy if you know what I mean!

The road to Hana isn’t bad at 10am and 2pm, after all the tour buses are done ! I used to commute to Kahului from Hana twice a day!

Needles road is a must see. Great day trip if going to Sturgis for bike week. Not bad, tunnels tight but busses pass thru daily. A portion frames Mount Rushmore in places.

Hana highway the #1 most dangerous road in the world? Give me a break!! I have driven the road many times and have enjoyed every minute of it. Gueesh! Not 1/1000 as dangerous as the other lulus you featured. And the annual death toll on them would bear me out. The Hana highway is quite safe--you just have to be careful.

I agree 100% with the Whitehouse / government comment. Although.... SOMEBODY really should step in and at least attempt to save our country before we're all screwed.... ALL of those roads would be way cool to see and experience. Just have to make sure weather is favorable to avoid landslides etc ...

Been on the Passage du Gois, towing a caravan towards Noirmoutier - Island. Isn't as scary as the narrator wants to implicate. BUT: it is dangerous if you don't watch the signs at both ends telling you when the tide is coming in. There are some platforms every here and there where you can crawl up and save yourself. Actually there are quite a lot of people out there searching for shellfish. They know when the tide is coming in ...
