heres a nice detail i found about the final sprite of spitz is that the only place he isnt infected yet was his wedding ring finger, being seemingly untouched by almost all of the deformities hes gained

I feel like the "vermin" that you break are people from the massacre, the chair, toilet etc are in places where people would stand like in the toilet, Infront of a kitchen counter and around desks and I feel like the player is the murderer in the massacre

I interpreted the final part differently, connecting the "No one will care about my death if I don't show them that I lived" with the killing of the props, thinking that in the end the guy went crazy at the news of his cancer and to give value to his death, as he said at the end, he committed a massacre.
