I'm Native American by birth and American by choice! This song transcends race! It's my favorite of all Tupac's songs. It shows appreciation to Mothers. I tear up when I sing it. My Mama's been gone since '14. Rest In Peace to you both!

For my momma the woman that has went through everything with me from me having a step daddy to meeting my real daddy only every 2 days a year, always helping me with my homework while we were living with our grandma and our grandfather dying you were always there and I love you, you are appreciated momma always know that your my queen forever momma💋

This makes me so emotional much love and respect for any parent trying their damnest for their children to have food and a roof over their head even through the greatest adversity rest in peace to my father and so much love to my mother. Please don't take the relationships you have for granted because I learned that the cliche is so true you never know what you got till their dead and gone god damn.
